I'VE HEARD THE AMMONITE MURMUR (1992) was the first program I ever put together at Spectacle. it played 6 times in december 2024, opening and closing the month out.

Kao helped translate the initial email I sent to Yamavica into Japanese. over the next two months, Maki from YHI / Yamavica helped me in coordinating communication with Dir. Yamada and getting screening permission from the theatrical distribution rights-holders Eurospace and Kougeisha; they also created a new official English subtitle translation for the film and got me access to the new digitization of LYNX REEL (1987), which was done by Eiichi Aso.
